BOS NOW PODCAST
We are coming back for a 2nd season!!!! There have been tons of brainstorming, meeting new people and talks to come back with even more amazing guests and media for our listeners! Ther are a bunch of people in our community and beyond that have to capability to change how we view our surroundings and the people around us. BOS NOW Podcast wants to go there, and beyond! Be on the lookout for our 2nd season this fall.

Derrick Beasley Exhibition Opening
Derrick Beasley (@brobeas on IG) has an exhibition opening on August 11th- September 15th at NorthStar Church of the Arts in Durham, NC. The exhibition titled Surviving the Burn: Black Water Vernacular is centered around global warming and survival.

Bright Black Candle
Bright Black Candle is celebrating their 4th birthday on August 12th from 11:00 am-5:00 pm in Durham, North Carolina. They will have door prizes, drinks and more!

Lamar Whidbee Artist Dinner
On August 18, 2023 from 6:00 pm- 9:00 pm, enjoy dinner and drinks with local artist Lamar Whidbee (@afropicasso on IG) at CAM Raleigh.
Lamar will give insight about his process and work. Attendees will get a chance to meet with other art enthusiasts in the area. All attendees will receive a signed, limited-edition Lamar Whidbee print.

Men For Change
Safe Space, Inc. is a nonprofit organization, in Franklin County that provides supportive services to meet the needs of victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. Services provided by Safe Space include, domestic violence and sexual assault advocacy, community training and education, and more!
